A group of seven doctors from different specialties came together in the year 1996 with a vision to set up a multi-specialty medical centre in Kolhapur City. Their dream metamorphosed into Prerana Hospital Limited’s erstwhile Aadhar Nursing Home now called as "Aadhar Hospital".

Over the decade, Aadhar nursing home has grown from initial 50 beds to about 100 bedded multi-specialty Hospital. This medical centre has steadily progressed & established itself as one of the premier medical setup serving the community in and around Kolhapur district including adjoining Sindhugarh, Ratnagiri, Ichalkaranji, Goa. Aadhar Hospital has earned a reputation of being the most easily accessible & affordable medical centre. It has the best of contemporary medical faculties in the region.

Keeping with its vision of constantly improving, transforming and upgrading quality of healthcare delivered; Aadhar Hospital has taken a step forward. It has taken a strategic direction and formed joint venture (JV) with like-minded globally renowned "DM Healthcare Private Limited (DMH)", a multinational progressive healthcare group. DMH has invested in Aadhar Hospital and is a majority stake holder in this JV.

DMH – Aadhar are working together to bring in the much needed upliftment in healthcare standards & quality of medical care in Southern Maharashtra. A special emphasis is being given on developing processes to deliver reliable patient care. "Advanced medical technology has been introduced to further improve healthcare delivery standards."
